The Chronograph 1 – Hodinkee 2024 Edition merges watch expertise and design history: together, Porsche Design and Hodinkee continue the story of an icon in an impressive trilogy. The legendary 'sports car on your wrist' reinterpreted – in the Hodinkee 2024 Edition.
Inspired by the original dial designed by Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, Super-LumiNova® luminous material was chosen in a retro colour, giving the timepiece the patina of decades-old watches. As a tribute to Hodinkee and the US community, the bezel features a '1 MILE' graphic on the tachymeter scale.
Inspired by the first chronograph, which surprised the watch world with its all-Black appearance, the bracelet of this chronograph is also Black. The quick-change system offers increased wearing comfort.
As the first watch in the partnership between Porsche Design and Hodinkee, the limited edition is engraved with 'TRILOGY – CHAPTER 1' on the titanium case back. 'Porsche Design x HODINKEE 2024' is engraved in the middle, as well as a historic Porsche Design icon and the letter 'H' in the design of the Hodinkee logo.
The heart of the Chronograph 1 – Hodinkee 2024 Edition is the Porsche Design calibre WERK 01.140, manufactured in the Porsche watch factory in Switzerland, with COSC certification – a distinction awarded to watches that run with exceptional precision.
