The iconic Chronograph I is a timeless masterpiece. F. A. Porsche wanted to create a timepiece that was unmistakably derived from the vehicle and stood for unrestricted functionality. A precision instrument that revolutionised the watch industry and focused on both function and optimal readability – like the Porsche 911. The result was the first all-Black chronograph, instead of the usual Silver or Gold. It was highly controversial at the time, but is now firmly established. With intricately designed details that transform each piece into a tribute to the motorised model.

To retell the story of the Chronograph I, rediscovering its design philosophy and forms, cherished by connoisseurs on every continent. To match this, Porsche Design has developed the Chronograph 1 – Hodinkee 2024 Edition, which brings all of this to your wrist in 1970s style. Strictly in accordance with the specifications of F. A.
